Salsa Beginner / LEVEL 1
Level 1 is for Salsa Absolute Beginners.
This 4-week course is for new students who want to learn and master the fundamentals of dancing New York Style Salsa On2. Consistency is key to ensure you are confident on the dance floor!
We will cover basic steps & turns, timing & musicality, balance & weight change and arm styling. Once you've completed this cycle you will be prepared to take on any class or social.
Level 2 is the next level and for students with a strong Fundamental foundation of Salsa or have completed at least one or two cycles of Level 1. We highly suggest two cycles to be confident in your dancing.

The Level 1 SUNDAY and TUESDAY classes for the JUNE cycle are SOLD OUT.
You can still register to join the waiting list or sign up for the July cycle.
After completing your purchase,
the system will guide you to join the waiting list.
If a spot opens, you will be added to the JUNE class.
If no spots become available, you will be moved to the JULY cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to bring a partner?
You do not need to bring a partner. You will partner up during class and we rotate partners often.
Do I need special shoes?
Beginners can start with street shoes or dress shoes that have ankle-straps (support) with medium-height heels or any flat-bottom shoes or regular dancing shoes. Avoid wearing shoes that have thick rubber soles such as sneakers, clogs, boots or flip-flops.
I can't make it to my class, can I switch days?
No, we currently offer Salsa Level 1 only on Sundays.
Can I use my purchased package next cycle?
All sales are non-refundable. You must complete use all 4 classes in the current cycle. It cannot be used or extended for future workshops/cycles. It cannot be shared or transferred to another person.
